Please join us tonight for Night of the Arts. Student work of all types will be showcased along with student performances throughout the evening. Light refreshments will be served. You will be amazed at the talent of our RCS students.
Join us for Ghent Elementary's 1st GLOW PARTY on March 21 from 6-8pm in the gym! There is no entry fee, but we will have optional purchases of glow items, pizza, snacks, and drinks. Come dance the night away!
Our Book Fair is up and ready for tomorrow!! Don't forget that you can set up an eWallet for your kiddos at the link below. The eWallet DOES NOT give your kid access to your credit card. You preload money into their account, and they won't be able to spend more than that amount.
Don't forget that Grand Pals Day is tomorrow. Grand Pals has to sign up prior to the event. PK-2 is from 9-10:30, and 3-5 is from 1-2:30.

The Book Fair at GES is next week (March 10-14)! Students will have the opportunity to shop all week just like Santa's Workshop. The Book Fair accepts cash, cards, eWallet, and checks (made out to Ghent Elementary School).

It's time for our annual Run Club! Students in grades 3-5 may participate. Practices are 1 hour after school 1 day per week beginning the week of March 16. For exact start date and practice schedule, please download the TeamReach app. The group code is GhentRC25. There will be an end of the season race at Little Beaver!
The Book Fair and Grand Pals Day have been rescheduled! The Book Fair will run March 10-14 with Grand Pals Day on March 10. We will use the same schedule as before with K-2 Grand Pals from 9:00-10:30 and 3-5 Grand Pals from 1:00-2:30.
Grand Pals names have been submitted to BOE for approval, so we will no longer be accepting sign ups. If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Raleigh County Schools has new and efficient way for parents and guardians to submit excuses for student absences! This form can be found on the Raleigh County Schools website or at the following link: https://app.droplet.io/form/08vMdN
You may still turn in excuses the traditional way of sending them to the office with your student, but we hope this will streamline the process! If you have any questions, please contact the office at GES.
Just a reminder that Grand Pals Day and the Book Fair DO NOT start tomorrow! As soon as we have a new date, we will send out that information. We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow!
Due to weather, Scholastic has shut down for the week and will not be delivering our Book Fair until next week. With that said, we have to postpone not only the Book Fair but Grand Pals day as well. We will update you as soon as possible! Again, Grand Pals Day and the Book Fair are postponed.
DON'T FORGET: Since we were off school today, tomorrow is the last day to turn in Grand Pals forms!
There will be NO ice cream sales tomorrow (2/14). Sales will resume next week!
