Join us December 5th at SSHS for the annual Ghent Elementary Christmas Concert! Students in grades K-5 will be participating. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show begins at 7:00pm. We will be collecting canned food for The Lunch Box Food Pantry. Hope to see you there!

Grade Reports are coming home today! Please disregard the column labeled "1SA." That column is for the semester average and has begun to pull the 2nd 9-weeks' grades before reports were printed. The correct grades are in the column labeled "1ST." If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

We're excited for our Fall Party tomorrow! Please make sure your students are following the guidelines if they choose to wear a costume.

We will not be doing ice cream sales tomorrow, Oct. 27 due to the Fall Parties! Ice cream sales will resume next Friday, Nov. 3.

Come on out to Beckley-Stratton Middle School to cheer on our #7 seeded basketball team tomorrow (Oct. 21) in the county tournament! Games run back-to-back, so the approximate start time is 12:00pm. GO LIONS!

Apologies for the late notice, but the Raleigh County Schools Transportation department put together a Spirit Week for School Bus Safety Week! We'd love to see our students participate!

At this time of the school year, your student has completed an assessment called the iReady Fall Diagnostic. iReady assesses your student's achievement in Reading and Math. You should have received a print out of these diagnostic results. If you did not receive these results, or if you have questions about them, please contact your student's teacher.
