Anna Callaway and Taygen Griffith represented Ghent Elementary at the 2024 Raleigh County Social Studies Fair. They won first place in their division. They will compete at the state level in April. We are so proud of your accomplishment and wish you the best of luck at the state fair.

We are closing out the first semester tomorrow! Here are a couple of things to note:
1) Students should have brought home their 2nd iReady Diagnostic reports(K-5). If you did not receive these, please contact your child's teacher.
2) Report cards will be coming home on January 19 if there are no technical issues.

We will not be selling ice cream this week at GES! Ice cream sales will resume in January!


Due to a situation on Farley Branch Road, Bus 233 WILL NOT run this afternoon. All Bus 233 students will remain at school. Parents may pick them up beginning at 3:20. Please call the office with questions.

Congratulations to Jason Lilly for winning the Ghent Elementary Spelling Bee! He will represent our school at the Raleigh County Spelling Bee in January. We're so proud of you, Jason!
